🛠 How to Use Claude Code for Customer Research in 2026 : Shulem makes a structural argument: product and UX researchers spend 60–70% of their time aggregating customer data and only 30–40% actually analysing it. Pairing Claude Code with BuildBetter's MCP server flips that ratio by letting you query unstructured conversations — Gong, Chorus, Zoom, Intercom, Zendesk, Slack, Linear, Notion — from a terminal prompt, with timestamped quotes and source attribution attached. The worked examples cover competitive-intel sweeps, feature-validation pulls, and weekly "what changed" digests. Most concrete write-up of Claude-Code-in-research workflows we've come across this year, and a useful counterweight to the trend pieces that stay at altitude.
🧪 From Ad Hoc Prompting to Repeatable AI Workflows with Claude Code Skills: The most "do this on Monday" piece we read this month. Takeda walks through building a Claude Code Skill for synthetic persona interviews: personas stored as structured JSON, diversity validation upfront so panels don't all sound the same, and isolated interview contexts so personas don't drift between questions. The result is two commands — /persona generate ("10 Gen Z skincare shoppers in the US") and /persona ask — with reusable JSON outputs you can re-query for follow-up tests. Sits in the productive middle between vibe-prompting ChatGPT and writing a Python library, and the code is small enough to fork before you finish your coffee.
